Bryan Circle is a dead-end street on the west side of Boston Road, beside the end of Tremlett Road, running about 800 feet southwest to a turnaround near Meade Road. It was laid out as the subdivision Riverdale Heights: "Riverdale Heights, Definitive Plan of Land, Billerica, Mass.," owned by Philip C. and Karen M. Farmer of 46 Meade Road, was drawn by Amherst Survey Associates, Inc. of Amherst, New Hampshire, dated June 10, 1980, approved by the planning board on September 8, 1980, and recorded on September 12, 1980 (Plan Book 132, Plan 37). It shows Bryan Circle, 40 feet wide, from Boston Road to a turnaround of 60 feet radius, with seven house lots of 40,000 to 55,316 square feet carved from the Farmers' land behind Boston Road, Tremlett Road and Meade Road.
The town engineer listed Riverdale Heights among the subdivisions in the planning stage in 1980, and the planning board was still releasing its lots in 1983. The assessors date four of the seven houses to 1983, two to 1984 and one to 1986. The plan does not explain the name, and its source was not found. No vote accepting Bryan Circle as a public way has been found.
